Shaun Mottley is Founder and Chief Innovation Officer at Cinovoo. He earned an Executive Masters from Columbia University and a MBA from Baruch College. He is an expert in economics, sustainability, innovation, entrepreneurship and finance. Shaun worked for several Fortune 500 firms in New York City such as Deutsche Bank, Bank of New York Mellon, Citibank, and most recently a leading Community bank. He has held senior positions at these firms and has over a decade of experience in corporate leadership overseeing a wide range of process-change projects and leading teams to profitability.

Shaun is a proven leader and finance executive with board level experience in formulating, communicating and executing strategic plans and business initiatives for start-ups, existing and distressed operations. He is a successful business developer and network builder based on generating results through team approach, professional mentoring/development and business service excellence. He has a demonstrated skill-sets in commercial, investment and community banking, capital structuring, enterprise valuations/acquisitions and project finance including real estate and economic development with emphasis on debt and loan/credit underwriting, asset/liability management, portfolio investment strategy, securities trading and risk.

Celia (Xilin) Zhang is Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer at Cinovoo. She is currently a PhD candidate at Binghamton University, Watson School of Engineering & Applied Science. Her major is System Science with a focus on AI and Engineering. Celia also earned a Master of Arts and Bachelor degrees in Economics from Binghamton University. Celia has several years’ experience working for various firms in China as Data Analytic Analyst, and then as a Data Analytics Manager.

In her role as CTO Celia will focus on establishing Cinovoo’s technology vision, strategies, marketing development, end user responsibility, and assist with plans for growth. She will supervise the system and quality assurance processes, and focus on maintaining and improving all technological issues in the company.

The founders believe that each consumer can be a leader to drive impactful changes in consumer sustainability, even if as consumers they hold no title. This means that everyone have the potential for greatness. They also believe that fulfillment does not come from clearing hurdles others set for us; but it comes from clearing those we set for ourselves.

In terms of risk, Shaun and Celia believes that it is important to know oneself, strength, weaknesses and blind-spots, since this is the only way they can take intelligent risk and grow Cinovoo to greatness. They also believe that the seven values of AMAZING are what make Cinovoo unique and relevant. They knows that at Cinovoo the dream is only as strong as the resolute commitment we bring, and that of our partners.
